POHL Ventilated Curtain Wall Systems
POHL ventilated curtain walls are custom-made according to the architect's individual design and generally produced as facades to be hung on the building. We guarantee surface flatness as well as simple and flexible installation.
All POHL ventilated curtain wall systems can alternatively be provided with concealed fixing. Here, no bolts are visible in the gap.
With the wall cladding types developed by us, we are flexible to adapt to the requests of each individual customer.

POHL Europlate®
Sharp design with clear-cut appearanceWe manufacture panels in sizes up to a maximum length of 6.000 mm and maximum width/height of 2.500 mm. Within the frame of these dimensions, the grid dimensions can be freely determined.
The ventilated curtain wall makes a very quick pressure balance possible for the space behind the outer façade layer and keeps this area in balance with changes in air pressure. Therefore, there will be no difference in pressure causing rain water and other volatile matter to be pressed into the inner layers of the wall cladding.
Another important advantage of ventilated curtain walls is that the cladding elements are not exposed to the whole wind load. Therefore, general practice of statical calculations is to calculate with wind loads of 70 % or less.
The ventilation effect at the area behind the wall panels means an additional advantage since moisture forming due to condensation or by vapour diffusion will dry quickly and completely.
All our ventilated curtain wall systems feature the above mentioned technical advantages. Connection solutions for all common window profiles are available.
