rewa Master XL

Basic Information Drainage Systems

Production

DWS Pohl GmbH drainage systems are made from polyamide 6 (PA 6), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GRP). Here, machine production guarantees a consistent mixture of the components and therefore the optimum in stability and expected useful life. Our development division has access to the latest findings in the business and disposes of high know-how and long-term practical experience. Complex projects are developed in collaboration with project offices and renowned colleges. This leads to products of high efficiency designed for the increasing requirements of the market which are constantly being optimized.

Quality

All DWS Pohl GmbH products feature high material quality, high-class processing levels and a wide range of possible areas of use.

Our production plant works strictly in accordance with the standards of ISO 9001 and the products are EU-Standard certified. This ensures consistent product quality and constant customer satisfaction.

Material

The ever-changing climatic conditions induce us to find new answers to changing requirements. Today, the materials must not only have a long durability but also they must resist more extreme temperatures and be UV-resistant at the same time. For this reason and after meticulous research and testing, we decided to use polyamide 6 for the production of our standard drainage systems.

PA is a thermoplastically processed polyamide with glass fibres which – due to its properties - offers many advantages compared to most raw materials used on the flat roof market. PA 6 is heat resistant from -50°C to +90°C. It is not hazardous to health, weather-proof and UV-resistant and furthermore ensures a homogeneous connection of the drainage unit to the flange.

For special products and uses, non-typical dimensions and accessories, we process GRP.

Product Description

rewa Master XL drainage systems comply with the current standards, the environment and all DIN regulations. Continuous controls in the shop as well as by LGA Bayern guarantee constant quality.

Due to the very wide range of products, we can adapt to nearly every possible condition existing on site. Custom solutions at request. You have the choice of ordering all drains with direct connections (bitumen, PVC or other membranes), or you may order the bolt flange for direct connection to the roofing membrane of your choice.

Technical Specifications

All vertical drains are available in standard widths DN 70, DN 100, DN 125 and DN 150. Angular drains are available in standard widths DN 70, DN 100 and DN 125. Either with connecting collar or with bolt flange incl. gravel guard.

All drains are also available in a heatable version. The installation of the heating must be carried out by a certified electrician according to VDE requirements.

rewa Master XL extension elements fit for all vertical and angular drains for insulation thicknesses from 40 mm to 500 mm and standard widths DN 70 to DN 125. For the vertical drain DN 150, we offer an extension element for insulation thickness 120 mm to 170 mm.

Technical Data of Heatable Drains

power input per drain: 8 W at 20°C, 11 W at 0°C and 15 W at -20°C

max. current consumption: approx. 90 mA per drain

Voltage: 230 V

Gravel guard with new properties

For optimizing the drainage performance, our development division – together with hydrodynamics specialists - developed a gravel guard according to the latest technical findings.

The special hydrodynamic form of the fins minimizes the risk of sludge and dirt accumulation (e.g. by leaves) and increases the flow rate. The material used (PA 6) also ensures stability.
